We work to improve the access to quality healthcare services for the poor and marginalised communities. By identifying the root causes of healthcare challenges, we work at the individual, community, and systemic levels to develop innovative solutions and help implement quality healthcare services.
We are working for years to ensure quality elementary education for children, and those from marginalized communities, to help them become the leaders and changemakers of the future.
Livelihood mandate works with the women engaged in smallholder agriculture, small businesses or employed as farm or non-farm labour. Implementing a range of innovative initiatives, collectivisation, inclusive value chain development and engagement of men and other influential actors.
It was an attempt to address the problems associated with forced migration and to create livelihood opportunities, Goonj along with its partner organization, developed a sustainable and profitable model of Community Farming to help the family .
As a reward, We provided the students with school bags, books and notebooks, pens and crayons and lunch boxes and water bottles. The result – better ambiance for the school, playground compound, and the surrounding vicinities, more enthused parents, teachers and students who are now excited for their refurbished school. School to School initiative is about building a bridge of surplus school material, empathy and participation between urban and rural school children.
Keeping in mind the health concerns of the present day, in nine villages our team members conducted awareness sessions on sanitation and hygiene to home-bound people. Moreover, as the children were wearing adult-size face masks, they were gifted with kids’ masks for better protection. we have made 3,20,000+ face masks. We also help them with different methods for proper hygiene in food , clothes as well as shelter to keep it clean.
